Great Article! My team is struggling this year so far so the tips were good and will come in handy. Meet you once at the UGA camp in 97 socializing with the coach’s. I think the post game article would be good, so many coach’s talk to long to their teams. Keep up the good work and enjoy your fitness class!

As always, good basic thoughts and experieced ideas. Coaching Australian private school kids from both upper primary(boys & girls) and junior high level girls who are required to compete in school teams Saturday mornings certainly requires skills in motivating a wide range of ability and drive. The extension to this relates to community based club softballers and motivation… why do they play and more improtantly why do they stop playing.

Thank you Cindy, I love the video as well. I am always trying to see what I can do to help the girls improve with motivational creativity. One of the things I always say to my team is leave practice a better player in some way then when you arrived. I always ask them afterwards if they improved. They seem to like it and definitely say yes which reinforces their own belief in themselves.
